In this weeks sketch jam with Meg, we looked at creating characters by using the shape of the colour blot we laid down and then drew over the top to create a unique/abstract characters. Below are my outcomes from the session and feel that it has opened up my concept of how to approach designing characters.

There was a sketch jam being run by Meg. This week the theme was 'monsters' with this we had to pick random numbers to determine the amount of arms, legs and eyes, here we also had to randomize the numbers a second time to get their personality and their role.  With this I got 4 eyes, 2 arms and 6 legs with the personality being crazy and a role of being an outcast we did a series of 8 initial sketches and then 3 sketches of the one we really liked the look of, to then take one forward and finalize with colour.
